Winnipeg to Churchill / Start of Churchill Beluga, Culture and Auora Adventure

12:45 Arrival by air at Churchill. Tour guide pick-up and orientation.
13:10 Hotel check-in
13:   30 Lunch
14:30 Chartered boat to Nunavut for Beluga whale watching. The experienced captain of the boat will bring us on a route with great opportunities for belugas and polar bears.
18:00 Dinner, a taste of Inuit traditional cuisine. 
19:30 Exclusive: Arctic ecology expert will reveal the mystery of arctic flora and fauna, how the affect human life. A deep dive into the tundra biome, this discussion includes interesting learning materials. 

Late Night: Guests can rest in the comfort of the hotel, when the aurora borealis (northern lights) appears, our tour guide will notify and gather the guests to observe and photograph the aurora.

Tundra buggy, Town tour, Aurora

14:00 Tundra buggy returns to town.
14:30 Guided town tour of Churchill, Park Canada Museum, Eskimo Museum, PBI, arctic fur souvenir shop etc.

08:00 Meet in front of hotel, a specialist guide will take guests out of town for sight-seeing. Sights include: Cold-war era facilities, Polar bear jail, "Miss Piggy", Cape Merry and more. This tour is full of professional local knowlege, lore, and humor, the tour guide carries a firearm to protect guests against arctic preditors.【Please do not feeding and avoid making loud noises to freighten wild animals】

13:00 Local volunteer work to get to know the local life, events are organized by local government and varies according to season. Guests not partaking in volunteer work may go on optional activity tours (please ask your guide for booking)

  • Polar bears and other wild animals may pose danger to humans, adherence to safety instructions is required.
  • Churchill is a wildlife rerserve with limits on number of visitors; a 50% non-refundable deposit is required when booking.
  • Fee balance is due 30 days before start of tour.
